After decades of research and development, our lens coatings are unmatched around the world and have been relied on millions of times. With complex tests in our laboratories, large-scale trials with our customers and constant quality control in production, the very highest standards possible are guaranteed.
We develop plastic lenses that provide unique design possibilities while offering a significant weight advantage over glass. They also deliver considerably better protection against mechanical hazards. Our lenses are available in a wide range of colours to suit particular tasks and fields of application.
|
Clear |
Clear lenses provide high mechanical protection as well as high UV protection by filtering the harmful UV rays. The lenses also provide unimpaired colour perception and comply with EN 166 + 170. |
Amber |
Amber lenses comply as UV filters with EN 170 and also offer high mechanical protection. The spectral characteristics of the filter shows absorption of the blue light in the visible range providing contrast enhancement. |
Blue |
In addition to providing a high level of mechanical protection, blue lenses also offer a high UV protective level by filtering harmful UV rays in accordance with EN 170. The subtle blue tinting of the lenses has a pleasant, relaxing effect on the human eye. This tinting is especially good for contributing to comfortable and relaxed vision at workplaces which place strain on the eyes, such as testing jobs (excl. colour checks) or display checks (involving high levels of concentration) at various system apparatus. |
UV-Green |
Green lenses comply with EN 170 filtering harmful UV rays as well as visible light providing UV protection and glare protection. They provide high mechanical protection. |
Grey |
Grey lenses comply with EN 172 and are sunglare filters. They filter harmful UV rays as well as visible light offering UV and glare protection. They provide good recognition of signal lights as well as high mechanical protection. |
SCT 400 |
Brown lenses of filter type SCT 400 (Spectrum Control Technology) absorb as sunglare filters according to EN 172 UV rays and visible light providing UV and glare protection. The lenses show strong linear absorption in the blue range of the visible light and additional partial absorption in the infrared providing enhanced protection. The lenses offer high mechanical protection. |
Infradur PLUS |
Green infradur PLUS lenses comply to EN 169 and are welding filters absorbing the rays caused by gas welding processes: UV rays, IR rays as well as glare. They provide higher levels of mechanical protection than glass filters. |
