What makes the technology so unique, are the following attributes:

• Activation: This is the process whereby the lens darkens. The activation time on the Variomatic lens is a maximum of 10 seconds, which is quicker than the acceptable standard globally.
• Deactivation: The process whereby the lens returns to it's normal state or it lightens. The Variomatic deactivation takes place in 30 seoconds. This is substantially quicker than any other current product available on the market.
