Fuerth - Thanks to the innovative design of their side arms, the uvex pheos nxt safety spectacles fit any head shape perfectly – and sit securely even when you’re looking down. These frameless safety spectacles for work set a new benchmark when it comes to ergonomics. What’s more, the uvex pheos nxt planet spectacles are made mainly from recycled materials and are therefore particularly sustainable.

10 percent lighter

The first pheos safety spectacles were launched in 2011, and the product portfolio is now being further expanded with the new uvex pheos nxt. These frameless safety spectacles offer a unique and revolutionary side arm design: the basic framework is minimised and combined with a flexible, thin and soft component. As a result, the soft side arms adapt ergonomically to any head shape, while the weight-optimised design also makes the spectacles a good 10 percent lighter than the classic uvex pheos model.

Optimal fit, perfect climate

Special anti-slip ridges on the side arms and a flexible side arm twist ensure that the safety spectacles stay perfectly in place in any situation, including when looking down or during physically demanding tasks. The vents on the side arms reduce the contact area behind the ears and allow air to circulate optimally for maximum wearer comfort. The design of these new safety spectacles was informed by developments in the sports sector, and the company’s expertise in this area was a real plus here.

An all-rounder for any application

uvex pheos nxt safety spectacles can be easily combined with other PPE, for example uvex safety helmets or earmuffs. Thanks to their perfect ergonomics, non-slip fit and climate-optimised wearer comfort, they are the ideal solution for a wide range of applications – a true all-rounder that provides maximum safety, even in challenging situations. The uvex pheos nxt planet model is also very impressive when it comes to sustainability: the spectacles consist of around 12 percent recycled material, and uvex uses environmentally friendly solutions for packaging and logistics, too.
