The uvex RX cd 5521 planet safety spectacles have a modern and sporty plastic frame with a reflective uvex logo and are available with a number of lens options, allowing the glasses to be individually adapted to the wearer's vision. These prescription safety spectacles combine individual fine-tuning, sustainability and exceptional innovation. The glasses are marked and certified in accordance with EN 166. They can therefore be worn in workplaces where it is mandatory to wear safety spectacles. The high-quality plastic frame impresses with its attractive, modern design while the transparent frame provides an unrestricted field of view. The anatomically contoured nose bridge provides a good fit and excellent wearer comfort. The sporty-looking side arms made from hard and flexible components are soft and adjustable, supporting a comfortable and non-slip fit. Instead of crude oil, the base is the renewable raw material from the castor plant. Castor cultivation does not compete with food-growing areas or endanger forested areas. In addition, no harmful ingredients are used. The spectacles are produced in accordance with the provisions of the REACH regulation and beyond, according to the specifications of the uvex restricted substances list. The custom protective products are characterised in particular by their longevity. Compared to standard products (e.g. overspecs, disposable hearing protection), our custom protective products can be used for much longer. On average, the service life of uvex prescription safety spectacles is approximately 1.5 years, saving valuable resources and reducing carbon emissions. uvex prescription safety spectacles are also supplied with a case to extend their service life. The case can be reused after the end of the spectacles’ useful life. uvex is thereby making an important contribution to the prevention of packaging waste.
