When working in environments that could potentially be hazardous and cause damage to your health due to high levels of particles in the air, it is essential to protect oneself. By wearing an FFP2 mask one can prevent up to 94% of harmful particles from entering your respiratory system. Even though the com4-air FFP2 does filter a variety of harmful particles, it is particularly good at filtering dust.
Product Information
This FFP2 protection level mask is designed to have a cup shape and does not have an exhalation valve. It is extremely comfortable due to its soft material edges, soft sealing lip, and flexible nose clip. It is also very secure as it sports a continuous headband to ensure a perfect fit.
Materials Used
There are a few different types of materials that have been utilised to manufacture the different elements of this mask. For the headband, continuously looped textile and cotton were utilised. The adjustable nose clip has been manufactured out of aluminium, and the sealing lip was made using cotton foam and elastane. Lastly, the filter mask is made up of CoolSAFE+, Melt Blown PP, and Polyester.
FFP2 Mask Uses
This mask is suitable to be worn for woodworking, construction, agriculture, and any environment where dust pollen, cement, iron dust, fluoride and other forms of air pollutants are present. The mask can also be used in environments where you need protection from solid, aqueous, and non-volatile liquid aerosols. It can even handle up to ten times the respective limit values.
