uvex phynomic XG planet

Sustainability meets performance

Fuerth/Lueneburg – The latest version of a highly successful model is here: following on from the uvex phynomic XG, an assembly glove with excellent grip in oily areas, the uvex safety group is now offering the uvex phynomic XG planet. As well as being more sustainable; this model also has improved features.

The “planet” addition says it all: the uvex phynomic XG planet assembly glove is part of the protecting planet product system. This range from the German PPE manufacturing company includes all the safety spectacles, safety shoes, gloves and more that have recyclability built into their design and that use bio-based materials, for instance.

The uvex phynomic XG planet is made from more than 50 percent sustainable materials: instead of polyamide fibres (as in the uvex phynomic XG), uvex uses recycled polyamide for the planet version. This reduces the carbon footprint significantly (by 29 percent, to 0.22 kilograms), as resources are saved. The product’s long service life also reduces waste and ensures that less raw material is used. Furthermore, this glove is made in the company’s own carbon-neutral factory in Lueneburg: Made in Germany as a mark of quality and sustainability.

As well as the attributes that make them particularly sustainable, this assembly glove has many other impressive features. The XG abbreviation denotes the Xtra Grip aqua-polymer foam coating, which ensures that this glove has the best oil grip in its class. However, the uvex phynomic XG planet also performs exceptionally well in dry areas thanks to its excellent tactile sensation and dexterity, high breathability as a result of the porous foam coating, and the perfect fit ensured by its slim fit design. It is also dermatologically approved and certified for skin compatibility by proDERM®. It goes without saying that the glove is free from harmful substances according to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100.

Unlike the original model, the planet version can also be used to operate touch screens, so you no longer need to remove your gloves before using your smartphone or other displays.

With the uvex phynomic XG planet, which can be used for manufacturing and assembling dry and lightly oiled parts, for maintenance and repair tasks, and for construction and building work, the uvex safety group offers a product that unites sustainability, top-class performance and wearer comfort. This assembly glove is certified according to EN 388 and is an innovative solution for challenging working conditions that emphasises uvex’s commitment to sustainability and the environment. The uvex safety group will present the uvex phynomic XG planet at its stand at the A+A trade fair 2023 in Duesseldorf, along with several other new products.
